After many, many months of waiting, I can finally proudly announce that my first short story published in a real, solid magazine is available! My story ‘Martin(s)’ was chosen for the Personal Space issue of a very cool American magazine called SHERBERT Magazine. James received a copy of their last issue for his birthday last year, and we were both taken by the magazine’s uniqueness and creative approach to zine-ing . I’m very excited to be able to finally hold my writing in my hands, and hope it’s the beginning of many more real, solid publications to come!

I know it’s American, and the conversion rate might be a bit much, but if you’re interested in purchasing this very fresh and original magazine (with the added bonus of having my name in print somewhere in it), please visit the Shebert magazine online store. The magazine costs $15 USD, but the copy James got for his birthday was bought from the uber-cool Keith and Lottie store on William Street in Perth, Western Australia. I’m not sure if they’ll be stocking this issue, but it might be worth checking if you’re super keen to have a copy of this fabulous publication.
